Submit a Miscellaneous Project

If you would like to receive feedback on your composition from someone who uses neither the same sound libraries nor the same DAW as you, here is how to provide the files in the most optimal way:

Audio Files
  • Individual Tracks:
    • Each track from the DAW must be exported as a single audio file.
    • These audio files must be grouped into subfolders according to their category, e.g.: Strings, Percussion, Synth, etc.
    • The file names should be short and directly refer to their content, e.g.: Vln Stacc, Sn Drum, Synth Pad, etc.
    • The file names should begin with a number corresponding to the order in which the files should be arranged within each subfolder, e.g.:
sous-dossier-nom-de-fichiers
  • Master:
    • The submission must also include an audio file containing all the tracks from the project.
    • This file must simply be named: #Master

MIDI File
  • The submission must include a MIDI file (Format 1) containing all the tracks from the project.
  • The MIDI track names must correspond to the names of the audio files.
  • The MIDI file must also include the tempo and meter changes.
  • If possible, include the chord names as markers.

IMPORTANT

All files (audio and MIDI) must be automatically synchronized when imported into a new DAW project. The files must therefore be tested before submission by importing them into a new project.
